Double Direction Tapered Roller Thrust Bearings
Double direction tapered roller thrust bearings are designed to carry axial loads in both directions with very small radial load carrying capacity. They comprise of one shaft washer with inside diameter slightly smaller than the housing washer, two housing washer with outside diameter slightly larger than the shaft washer, and two tapered roller and cage assemblies.
The housing washers have tapered raceways whereas the shaft washer has flat raceways. The taperlines of the raceways and the tapered rollers are angled to provide perfect rolling.
